<p>I have started a new blog so that all the schools can share about the different traditions they are looking at.</p>
<p>At Christchurch we are looking at the following traditions</p>
<p>Reception - Pancake day</p>
<p>Year 1 - Mothers day</p>
<p>Year 2 -Christmas</p>
<p>Year 3- Christenings</p>
<p>Year 4 - Weddings</p>
<p>all of the children will be looking at Easter and Morris dancing!</p>
<p>The children will post more information soon, please ask any questions.</p>
<p>Your teachers will be able to see photographs and work when they visit Poland</p>

The children can use this blog to ask questions about the visit or for the Turkish children to share what they thought about the trip.</p>

<p>Timetable of activities for the Trip to Turkey. </p>
<p>Day 1 - Friday</p>
<p>Teachers from England will arrive in Istanbul at around 4.30pm. </p>
<p>Day 2 - Saturday</p>
<p>Istanbul sightseeing - Visit to Topkapi Museum, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Teachers from Poland and France to arrive.</p>
<p>Day 3 - Sunday</p>
<p>Travel to Eregli. Meet Turkish teachers in a restaurant at the seaside. Sightseeing in Eregli.</p>
<p>Day 4 - Monday</p>
<p>Visit to the school in Eregli. Discuss the project and current topics. Evaluate work and discuss work to be completed after. Visit waterfall of Gunesli.</p>
<p>Day 5 - Tuesday</p>
<p>Visit Local Authority and visit local museum, open air museum and several historical places in town.</p>
<p>Day 6 - Wednesday</p>
<p>Teachers in England to leave. Visit to Amasra and Safranbolu.</p>
