The north of Poland, stretching to the Baltic Sea, consists almost entirely of lowlands while the Carpathian Mountains (including the Tatra range) form the southern border. The Masuria region forms the largest and most-visited lake district in Poland.

The Polish state is over 1 000 years old. In the 16th century Poland was one of the most powerful countries in Europe. King Jan III Sobieski of Poland broke the Ottoman siege of Vienna in 1683, ending the threat of a possible occupation of western Europe.

Poland is rich in natural mineral resources, including rock salt. The Wieliczka salt mine contains an entire town below ground with sanatorium, theatre, church and café! Everything from stairs to chandeliers is made from salt.

Poland’s current constitution dates from 1997. The President is elected by popular vote for a five-year term. The 460 members of the lower house of parliament (the Sejm) and the 100 members of the senate, are directly elected by a system of proportional representation to serve four-year terms

Poland’s traditional dishes include beetroot soup, cabbage rolls (cabbage leaves stuffed with meat and rice) and pierogi (dumplings stuffed with cabbage and mushrooms, for example).

Famous Poles include the astronomer Copernicus, the composer Chopin, the scientist Maria Curie-Sklodowska, film-makers Roman Polanski and Krzysztof Kieslowski, and the late Pope, John-Paul

On lui a posé des questions, il nous a répondu, puis il m'a dessinée de profil, et après, j'ai dessiné quelque chose et MONSIEUR AUREGAN a repassé sur les traits que j'avais dessinés et ça a donné un dessin.

The visit to Bécherel
By bus, we spent a quarter of hour to go to Bécherel from Siant Jacques de la Lande. We all noted it was the country! There were a lot of farms and cows... Then, when we arrived, we waited for the other group to finish with the painter. During this time, we saw the basement of the medieval castle of Bécherel, but there were only few remains that haven't been destroyed.
Then we went to the painter's place (his name is M. Aurégan). We asked him questions and he answered us. Then he drew my profile, and afterwards, he asked me to draw something without thinking, and M. Aurégan used the lines I had drawn to make something very beautiful!

The eesperanto is a universal language (it doesn't belong to country).I learn it every wednesday with the association "Nature and environment",where i pratice horse-riding (donkeys and horses).

We like clarrice Cliff's work because it is always coulerfull and she uses lots of basic shapes like squars , rectangles ,circles and overlaping shapes.

We are also learning about fractions in maths PS.its hard.

In scince we are lerning about the human body it is quite hard but is interesting aswell !

Hi i am James.At Christ Church First School we have been learning about Clarice Cliff. A couple of weeks ago before the half term we had some templates that we had to colour in with some felt tip pens and on the first week back we made a vase with paper bottles.
It was very fun.We used acyrlic paints.

On Friday morning in worship the people from the Stone
Lions Club came to see us.Then we read a story called
"DIARY OF A KILLER CAT".It was fun because we got to make our own diary but we weren't the cat we were Ellen.
Is Turkish speaking hard? i bet it is. Back to the start of blog, there are over 600 muscles in the body and over 100 in your face!!!!!
Did you know that when you bend your arm one side of it where muscles are they turn short and fat and the others on the opposite side turn long and thin?
In maths we wre learning about Venn Diagrams.[it was easy]are you having fun?
