At school Mr Hindhaugh has been telling us about his trip to Turkey.He brought some Turkish Delight back for us to try but I didn't like it. Mr Hindhaugh said if we didn't like it that it was OK but most of us liked it.
Mr H brought back two bracelets which had the Evil eye on for Saffron and Megan who are my friends. Mr H also brought back bookmarks and we had to sketch them which was really hard but we did it. Mrs Sands brought back some Turkish postcards and purse's. We heard how all the teachers went to the Blue Mosque so we had to sketch that to. We heard how Mr H got given that football shirt as a gift and how Mr H said he liked a badge and he got given it. I think that was really nice. And we saw a video on how people cook on a boat and how it was swaying from side to side i got a bit dizzy and how people sang and played music by the table and cooked by the table that was really cool. We saw how busy the bazaar was i could not believe my eye's and how we saw all the spices and a shop was called SAFFRON that was strange.
