Sehit Madenciler Ilkogretim Okulu was established in 1993.The name of the school was given for the memory of ten died miners in the coal mine.It stands in a very small town called Caylioglu, 30 km away from Kdz Eregli on the North coast of Turkey. The around of the school is green and surrounded by the natural forest.The students come from the villages around the town by minibuses. The school has two parts as pre-primary education and primary school education. The ages of the students are between five and fourteen.English is taught from the age of nine as a second language.There are 541 students and 25 teachers in the school.The Project “Museums in Education”is the 
first experience of the school.So, students and teachers are very happy to take part in such a nice Project.
