Hi Poppy
We have been very busy here in Turkey. We couldnt get the internet in Istanbul but we have it now in Eregli which is a 4 hour bus journey from Istanbul. Today we have visited the school that we work with and met the children and the staff. We have had a really nice day and the teachers prepared a BBQ for us on the banks of the river. We have ate a lot of fish and meat, especially kebabs.
We did a lot of sightseeing in Istanbul - it is a huge city with many interesting places to see. We will show you the photographs when we return to school. Thank you for writing and looking at our blog. Please tell the other children in school to have a read - there are a few comments under the other section "Lets Investigate".

I can not wait to see some of the paintings that your pupils have done!
We have been doing about Stone on different kinds of maps.
And we have just finished a massive project about the Tudors and the 1940's
We will have to show you some of the work we have done on it.
We have got a display on some of the stuff from the 1940's some of it was really shocking and you probably will not know some of the stuff that is on the display because it looks different to what we have now in these days.
I really can not wait until you you come to our school, it will be very good.
have a safe journey to England.
